Book Signings with Authors
Book signings are a great way to connect with your readers. Not only can you get the chance to meet your fans in person, but you can also sell books and give away swag—all at the same time! CGLF 2022 is proud to present a series of book signings with some of the most talented authors in South Florida.
Sipiwe Anderson, the author of Perfect Moon, was able to attend the event.
The event in Coral Gables was really great. A lovely turn out compared to their first year. There was a lot of books to see and buy and even little animals where I lost my daughter with excitement. It was amazing for me as I accidentally met a friend of mine Ute with her daughter Josy. They also ordered Perfect Moon. I wished I was able to stay longer but unfortunately my daughter had a birthday to attend in the same afternoon. I really would like to read the next time.
Pop Up Bookstore
The Pop Up Bookstore is a pop-up bookstore that offers books of varying genres and topics. The store has a variety of books for adults and children, including novels, nonfiction books, graphic novels, manga and self-help books.
CGLF partnered with local literacy vendors so that customers can get their books, magazines, and other reading materials in one place. They're a great way for people to have access to books in their neighborhood.
Photo Opportunities
The photo booth is one of the most exciting and fun parts of any event! At the Gables Family Literacy Festival, the guests had a chance to take photos with friends and family members, and they also did whatever they want while they're in the booth. It's a great way to get everyone interacting with each other as well as having fun!
